Since 2003, Rhenaphotonics Alsace has brought together the academic world, centres of excellence and businesses with an interest in optics and photonics in Alsace.

With the support of the DRIRE (Regional Direction of Industry, Research and the Environment) and the Alsace Regional Council, Rhenaphotonics Alsace is currently conducting the Photmap study, an inventory of the optics-photonics industry in Alsace.

Rhenaphotonics Alsace is the regional representative of the national Research-Business network ECRIN and a founding member of the Comité National d’Optique Photonique (CNOP) (National Committee of Optics and Photonics).
